Meet the Artistic Team
Steven Gallagher’s Directing credits include Rumspringa Break and The Cocksure Lads (CMTP), Matt Murray’s Fringe and Next Stage hit, Myth of The Ostrich, Robert (Trafalgar24), I’m Right Here (Toronto Fringe), Godspell and Drama 101 (Bravo Academy), and the Dora nominated First Day Back at The Storefront Theatre in Toronto and The International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival.
As a writer, his award winning play, Stealing Sam, made its American premiere in 2014 where it won Best Drama at the United Solo Festival in New York. His play Memorial premiered at the Next Stage Festival in 2013 and has been seen at Half Moon Theatre in Poughkeepsie, New York. His musical, Pollyanna, written with Linda Barnett was shortlisted for Playwrights Guild of Canada best new musical.
His latest project, Drama 101, written with Kevin Wong premiered at Bravo Academy in Toronto in June 2017 and has had two remounts.
Originally from Halifax, NS, Giustin is a Music Director, Conductor, Pianist, Orchestrator/Arranger and Keyboard Programmer based out of Toronto. Since arriving in Toronto, Giustin has worked with such companies as The Musical Stage Company, Canadian Stage, Yonge Street Theatricals, Young People’s Theatre, Gingermar Productions, Smile Theatre and Hart House Theatre. He has also worked at Randolph College and at Sheridan College, where he is on staff. Giustin’s versatility has lead him to work on a number of original works, concerts and cabarets.

Meet the Writing Team
Matt Bernard is a Playwright, Director, Artist Educator and Actor from Toronto, Ontario. He is of Aboriginal decent from the Woodland Métis Tribe. He has directed award-winning shows for both the Edinburgh and Toronto Fringe Festivals, The Rose Theatre Brampton, and the Toronto Centre for the Arts.
He is most recently recognized for writing and directing Romeo and Juliet Chainsaw Massacre (“Best of Fringe” and “Patron’s Pick”, Toronto Fringe 2015). He is Co-Artistic Director and Head Writer of Bain & Bernard Comedy with whom he has created, directed, and produced numerous projects from street festivals to stage, utilizing a vintage aesthetic to reach new audiences by employing diverse mediums, cultural archetypes, and collaborative chaos.
He has over twelve years experience working as Writer, Director, and Artist Educator with Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts, which has helped establish it’s reputation as one of the leading Arts High Schools in the city.
Suzy Wilde is thrilled to be on board for this year’s New Music Theatre Intensives. Wilde is a composer, arranger, songwriter, musical director and performer from Toronto.
Writing credits include: with Barbara Johnston: Maddy’s Karaoke Birthday Party (Toronto Fringe, 2017), with Anika Johnson and Barbara Johnston: The Fence (Toronto Fringe, 2016) and Summerland (Toronto Fringe, 2015). Musical Direction credits include:Daughters of Feminists (Toronto Fringe, 2016), Summerland (AMD; Toronto Fringe, 2015), Sir John A MacDonald Bicentennial Commission (Salon Theatre, 2011, 2012), A Really Bad Play (No Strings Theatre, 2013).
Wilde is one-third of folk-country trio, Dirty Dishes and has toured internationally as“Posh Spice”with Wannabe: The Spice Girls Tribute Band. She works as an arranger for many groups in the city including Well Seasoned Productions and The award-winning Wexford Gleeks.
She is a proud graduate of Wexford Musical theatre, Humber College Music and is currently working towards a Masters in Composition at York University.
